Who we are...
Skydive Seneca Lake is a small business, comprised of full-time skydiving and aviation pros! Between our small team, we have over 70 years experience. We are true lovers of the sky, each heavily experienced and an expert in our respective roles. If you are jumping with us, expect to laugh a lot, while learning a lot about our sport and the surrounding area.
Expect to enjoy our gorgeous vistas of Upstate NY's beautiful Finger Lakes region, while feeling safe and comfortable during the whole process. Our staff prioritizes safety above all else, but your fun and enjoyment is definitely a close second. We take the time to answer every question, get to know our customers' story and provide a unique and breathtaking experience to each and every one of them. We understand that skydiving is a very meaningful experience, and we are happy to assist with giving you the ride of a lifetime!
Our Story...
We are a new business, made up of heavily experienced instructors, pilots, parachute riggers and packers. The founders of SSL met at this exact beautiful location on a skydive years prior. They fell in love with the area, as well as each other. They then traveled the country on a skydiving journey, always nurturing the dream of returning to Ovid, NY, where their story first began, to bring skydiving back to the Finger Lakes.
Once their dream became a reality, they grouped together a team of experts from all over the country, to relocate to Amish country and get to work on bringing our drop zone back to it's former glory.

Our History
Although unaffiliated with any other skydiving operation that has existed in this location prior, the founders of SSL have made it a point to honor all of the many years worth of unique historic traditions that were created at the Ovid Airport by our elders . We have simply modernized the drop zone, while putting a new age twist on things.
Our Mission
As avid fun jumpers ourselves, we love skydiving... and skydivers! We want nothing more than to provide unforgettable memories to all who jump with us. Whether that be on your very first tandem skydive, by indoctrinating you into our sky-cult as you get licensed to jump solo, or by joining a sport jump load with you...we are happy to assist! Every member of our team truly loves what they do. We welcome everyone to come jump, spectate or hang out with us around the bonfire. This is the place you go to have fun.
