If you are ready to take the plunge above the Finger Lakes all by yourself, we are here to help! Through our accelerated free fall program, you will be ready in no time. Getting a skydiving license is no small feat, so congrats on making the decision to pursue the wonderful world of skydiving! You will first begin by signing up for a "First Jump Course", AKA "Ground School". We will teach you the basics such as emergency procedures, landing/deployment priorities, landing patterns and techniques, (You can sign up below!) Once ground school is completed, you will be paired with instructors who are specifically rated through the United States Parachute Association to teach newbies how to soar. You will then go through a series of categorized jumps, in which you will continue learning new skills. Starting with basic safety and altitude awareness, all the way up to flips and barrel rolls. Once through the AFF phase, you will then be paired with one of our USPA Coaches to learn group formation skydiving skills. This includes how to approach others, stay on level with them and how to track away from a formation safely. Once you have worked with our instructors and coaches to check all the boxes on your USPA A License progression card, you will then be ready for your check dive, and to take your written test. Once passed, you will officially be a licensed skydiver. You can then travel anywhere and jump solo! Skydive Seneca Lake is here to make the learning process as fun and educational as possible. Safety may be our number one priority, but having fun is definitely a close second. Fill out the form below to get started or contact us for more information.
