Group Reservation Policies
Why choose Skydive Seneca Lake for my group reservation?
Booking a group with Skydive Seneca Lake is simple and stress-free. There’s no need for a group organizer to handle payments or enter everyone’s information. Instead, each person books individually using a shared group code.
The first person to book will automatically receive a group code—just share it with your group. From there, each participant:

Books their own spot

Pays their own deposit

Completes their own waiver online
We offer group discounts that increase as your group grows (not stackable with other promotions). We recommend only paying the deposit when booking—your group discount will be applied to the remaining balance on the day of your jump.
You can continue adding people to your group anytime—even the day of your reservation if availability allows!
Please note: We do not offer refunds. Group discounts are taken at the register based on how many participants attend. No refund will be given to anyone who pays in full during booking a large group.
How to start a group reservation as "group leader"

The first person (“group leader”) selects a date and time with enough open slots.

They complete their individual booking.

They receive a group code to share with everyone else.
We recommend having everyone book as soon as possible to secure availability.

How to add yourself to an existing group reservation
Additional group members should click “Book Now,” then select “Join a Group” below the calendar (instead of choosing a date). From there, they’ll enter the group code, complete their info, pay their deposit, and receive a confirmation email once added to the reservation.
What if our group needs to reschedule for another day?
We’re happy to reschedule your group at no cost with proper notice—at least 72 hours for groups of up to 6, and 1 week for larger groups. While deposits are non-refundable, they can be transferred to a future date if notice is given within these timeframes. Deposits remain valid through the end of the following skydiving season (up to 18 months).
We understand that coordinating a group can be challenging, and we want everyone to have the chance to jump together when you're ready.
If you’re visiting the Finger Lakes, we recommend booking early in your trip in case weather requires rescheduling.
If your group needs to be split up, we will still honor the group discount rate if your group has already paid in full. Rescheduling for separate dates and times may will result in loss/reduction of group discount rate. All participants included in the rate must be in person at the same time to receive the discount. But, we are happy to still honor your deposits if you need to split off into 2 or more groups.
What if the weather does not cooperate?
Weather decisions are based on FAA and USPA regulations, which we strictly follow. If conditions look unsafe for jumping, we’ll contact you the night before or morning of your reservation with options to reschedule or adjust your time if the forecast improves later in the day.
If you’re weathered out, your deposit can be transferred to any future available date that works for you. All deposits and account funds remain valid for up to two years.
What if a group member is over 225 lbs?
Participants over 225 lbs will incur a $2 per pound fee for each pound above the limit (e.g., 230 lbs = $10 extra). This standard industry fee helps cover additional fuel and equipment wear.
Our maximum weight limit is 270 lbs, with no exceptions. All participants must be height-to-weight proportionate, physically fit, able to move safely in a small aircraft, and lift their legs to a 90° angle for landing.

Do all group members have to book the same altitude package?
Group members can choose their own jump altitude and media package. For 13,000 ft jumps, at least two participants in your group must select that altitude.

10,000 Feet
Dive into the adrenaline rush from a height of 10,000 feet above ground level. Feel the wind rush past you as you freefall towards the earth, soaking in the beauty of the Finger Lakes landscape below. Freefall duration is 30 seconds. Parachute deployment altitude is always 5,500 feet above ground for tandem skydiving. -
13,000 Feet
Take your adventure to new heights with a thrilling jump from 13,000 feet above ground!. Experience the ultimate adrenaline surge as you plummet towards the earth, enjoying extended freefall time and even more stunning views. Freefall duration is a whopping 50 seconds!

For large groups, early morning reservations are best to ensure availability and priority if weather delays occur.
